date night was a success... kind of!
we were able to get out and about like we planned. gma E watched avrie as planned... and our events were to be as follows:
a quick wine tasting at Aamodt's Apple Farm- BUT we got a little later start than planned
SO we moved onto dinner on Hudson's main street. We enjoyed a really good dinner at the cute little Agave Kitchen. Aaron enjoyed mahi mahi and I went with a chicken sandwich with cheddar, A-1 and shitaki mushrooms, both were SUPER good! After dinner, I punched in Nelson Ice Cream in Stillwater on the GPS{they were open until 10pm and I could WAIT to pick ONE flavor from their HUGE list!} we pulled into the vacant parking lot at 9:05pm {must be too cold for ice cream!?} oh yeah um no... they were CLOSED!!! well... CHANGE YOUR WEBSITE! {dont mess with a girl and her ice cream} ;)
anyway... we were both full and tired anyway- we will FOR sure have to make a stop back to Nelson's another time.
it was a great night out with just the hubby- no baby... we missed her, but she was having fun at gma's and picking her up and putting her to bed was the perfect ending to our night.
can't wait for our next date night!
