Transporation

Another note that I was wanted to include talks about the Transportation on reception day/night.

Since this event is a little less "wedding-intense" getting to the hall is going to be all on you.

This way there is no need to coordinate a time and place for everyone to be somewhere at a certain time {that sounds way too complicated, even for me!}

But- Aaron and I will be headed to the hall around 4pm in one of Gpa's classic cars- that will be so fun! Our photographers Tamrah & Cory of CT Ryan Photography will be there to do a mini photo session of just Aaron and I around the grounds and with the car.

Guests will then begin to show up around 5pm {where we will join the crowd for the social hour from 5-6} then food, then dance...

Fast forwarding to the end of the evening...

Now for transportation back to your hotel rooms: If you don't have a DD in place- we have booked the evening with Hastings local transportation company Smartride. It's nothing fancy- they are a local company that we have read good things about. So we have arranged for some assured safe and smart transportation back to hotels at two points in the evening.

*First Pickup {10:30pm}
Smartride will be at the hall at 10:30 to bring those "party poopers" back to their hotels in Hastings (in town) "AmericInn & Country Suites". Dennis will wait around for about 20 minutes to see if there are any takers on this first pickup. **note, they will not be going to TI on the first pickup.

*Last Pickup {12-12:30am}
Then at end of the night Smartride will return with 2-3 {14 passenger} vans to get remaining guests where they need to be. This will be the only smart & safe ride back out to TI {so... this will be the ride that Aaron & I will be hopping in to get back to the hotel}

Again, this is just a local company, it's nothing huge that will be able to accommodate EVERY single guest. So please arrange for a safe and sober ride if these two pickup times will not work for you. Remember that "AmericInn" & "Country Suites" are about 7-8 miles from the hall and TI is about 15.
